The Saskatoon Police Service says a 17-year-old girl was arrested in connection to a bomb threat at the University of Saskatchewan yesterday evening.
Shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to a threat of an explosive device in a university building in the 100 block of Clinic Place.
When police arrived, University of Saskatchewan Protective Services were evacuating the building. Police identified a suspect and determined that there was no threat to public safety.
Police arrested the suspect at a home in the 500 block of Egbert Avenue. She is charged with public mischief and breaching court-imposed conditions.
