Tomorrow is the opening of the City of Saskatoon’s Accessibility Survey, which hopes to gain intel on how the city can be made more inclusive and barrier-free for all.
Making the city more accessible not only entails making buildings easier to enter for those with physical disabilities, but it also includes tasks like introducing languages translation services and making more accommodations for service animals.
With the feedback, the City has been instructed to develop an accessibility plan by December of 2025.
