What started on February 21, will continue through March 9 when it comes to adjusted hours for the Saskatoon City Hospital Emergency Department, based on physician availability.
A Saskatchewan Health Authority news release says the City Hospital E-D will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through March 9. The news release says the S-H-A is continuing to take action to ensure consistent access to health-care services, adding that patients requiring emergency department services after 6 p.m. should visit the E-Ds of either Royal University Hospital or St. Paul’s Hospital. The S-H-A also advises that non-emergency medical concerns should be handled by calling HealthLine 811 anytime of day, visit walk-in clincs during their respective hours of operation or visit a pharmacy that may remain open to assist with minor health needs.
