A Wednesday evening incident in downtown Saskatoon continues to be under investigation with a man recovering from serious stab wounds. A Saskatoon Police Service news release says that at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night, officers were called to a home in the 900 block of 5th Avenue North for a report of a man looking for help from an area resident following a stabbing.
Police and Medavie Health Services West paramedics arrived to find an 18-year-old male victim suffering from multiple serious stab wounds. The stabbing was believed to have happened somewhere downtown by persons unknown to the victim, who was taken to hospital for further treatment.
