Five NDP shadow critics want to hear from northern residents in advance of the spring session of the Legislature which will begin March 19th.
The tour started in Prince Albert on Monday with stops at the sexual assault centre, mobile crisis, New North and Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation Forest Management.
The tour will also include visits to LaLoche, Stony Rapids and Wollaston Lake. Housing, healthcare and the high cost of living will be among the issues the MLA’s plan on discussing with local residents and officials.
The delegation includes the following Shadow Ministers: Brent Blakely (Social Services), April ChiefCalf (Housing), Brittney Senger (Community-Based Organizations), Leroy Laliberte (First Nations and Metis Affairs, and Jordan McPhail (Northern Affairs)
