The Meewasin Trail is the most popular recreational venue in Saskatoon—recording 2,365,000 visits in 2024—-the fourth year that the two million mark has been surpassed.
The Meewasin Valley Authority has trail counters at fixed locations through the river valley. Two types of counters collect the data every month, providing information on the direction of travel, time of day and whether it is a pedestrian or cyclist. These are the busiest five locations:

Not surprisingly, July was the busiest month with nearly 400,000 visits.
