Meewasin’s Board of Directors is now searching for a new CEO, as Andrea Lafond has resigned.

Lafond has decided to join Nature Conservancy Canada as their Regional Vice President of Saskatchewan.

The Board of Directors thanks Lafond for the passion and vision that she has brought to Meewasin which has created new partnerships, enhanced trail infrastructure, diversified
programming and strengthened stewardship.

Lafond’s last day in office will be February 21st, and until then, she will work on transition plans with the Board and Management team. An interim CEO will be named on February 7th, and a timeline will be established for finding a new CEO.
