Prince Albert Police are investigating after a vehicle was shot at Sunday morning.

The call came in around 2:20 a.m. and police say the owner of the vehicle was at a business in the 3500 block of 2nd Avenue West when a white SUV allegedly backed into their vehicle before driving away. The victim followed the vehicle to the area of 8th Avenue West and River Street West where a male walking from a home allegedly pulled out a firearm and discharged it, hitting the vehicle numerous times.

Multiple bullet casings have been seized from the area where the shooting occurred. The owner of the vehicle wasn’t hurt.

Police are continuing to investigate and anyone with information or video from the area surrounding the shooting is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
