Two people appeared in Kamsack Provincial Court Tuesday in connection to a drug bust in December. Twenty-seven-year-old Garth Rosin of Lloydminster and 33-year-old Worono Gott of Swan River Manitoba are each charged with one count possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and one count, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5000. A third person is also charged, and 29-year-old Tyler Young of Pelly will be in court January 28th facing one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
RCMP say December 10th around 5:00 p.m., Kamsack detachment received a report that drugs were being transported in the Kamsack area. Kamsack RCMP responded, making patrols until they located the suspect vehicle. During subsequent investigation, officers located and seized approximately 1.2 kilograms of cocaine hidden in one of the vehicles, along with cell phones and cash.
