The fields are set for the Viterra Prairie Pinnacle women’s and the SaskTel Tankard men’s following Sunday’s completion of the Last Chance events in both gender divisions.
With the women in Nipawin – teams skipped by Jolene Campbell of Regina, Jessica McCartney of Saskatoon-Nutana and Brooklyn Stevenson of Regina qualified for provincials. They join squads skipped by Michelle Englot of Regina, Penny Barker of Moose Jaw, Mandy Selzer of Balgonie and three Saskatoon sides skipped by Ashley Thevenot and Nancy Martin of Nutana plus Amber Holland of Sutherland.
On the men’s side, Last Chance qualifiers out of Swift Current were teams skipped by Steve Laycock of Swift Current, Charley Thomas of Langenburg and Dylan Derksen of Martensville. They join squads skipped by Scott Knapp of Regina plus five Saskatoon-Nutana sides skipped by Rylan Kleiter, Dustin Kalthoff, Jason Jacobson, Logan Ede and Bradley Moser.
Both, the Viterra Prairie Pinnacle women’s and the SaskTel Tankard men’s, will be played January 21-26 at Kindersley’s West Events Centre.
