Remai Modern
Remai Modern will be closed on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, and Boxing Day, Thursday, December 26, and will reopen on Friday, December 27, at 10 a.m.

Saskatoon Public Library
All Saskatoon Public Library (SPL) locations will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24. All locations will also be closed on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, and reopen with regular operating hours on Thursday, December 26.
All SPL locations will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31. All locations will be closed on New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1, and reopen with regular operating hours on Thursday, January 2.
Saskatoon Transit
Fixed-route transit will run holiday service hours on December 25, 26, and January 1 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (normal fares apply).

Route 1225 – Jingle Bell Express will provide free service on Boxing Day, December 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In partnership with SGI, Saskatoon Transit and Access Transit will offer free service on all routes on New Year’s Eve, December 31, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. (times may vary slightly by route).
OnDemand service will not be available on December 25, 26 and January 1.
Access Transit will operate holiday service hours on December 25, 26 and January 1. from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Trips must be booked in advance as per normal procedures.
Customers are reminded that subscriptions do not apply on Statutory Holidays.
Transit Customer Service Centre will be closed for walk-in customers on December 25, 26 and January 1, but phone lines (306-975-3100) will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Pay Parking
The City’s pay stations will require payment on Boxing Day, Thursday, December 26, 2024, as well as New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
Payment will not be required on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
Municipal Impound Lot
The Impound Lot will be closed to the public on Wednesday, December 25, and Wednesday, January 1. Vehicles will be released to the public as usual on Thursday, December 26. For more information, visit saskatoon.ca/VehicleSeizures.
Waste Collections
Garbage, Recycling, and Organics collections that fall on Christmas Day (Wednesday, December 25) and New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1) are rescheduled for the following Saturday. All other collections as scheduled.

Material Recovery Centre & Landfill
The Material Recovery Centre and Landfill will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, and Wednesday, January 1.
Live Christmas trees can be dropped off at Sort & Go from December 26 to January 31 for free from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Cash transactions are accepted, although credit and debit are recommended.
