RCMP charge suspect with homicide of Jordan Wright

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes has arrested and charged a 26-year-old man with First Degree Murder in connection to the death of Jordan Wright.

On Febraury 2nd, 32-year-old Wright was shot and killed at a home on 93rd Street in North Battleford. Police ruled that the incident did not appear to be random in nature. The investigation determined that two males entered the house armed with weapons and an altercation took place with a firearm being discharged. The suspects fled on foot.

Now, Xavier Lonesinger from North Battleford was scheduled to appear in court today. The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
