There was a fire in Saskatoon’s Meadowgreen neighbourhood Wednesday evening. The call came in at 7:26 p.m. from the 200 block of Montreal Avenue South.

When firefighters arrived, they could see smoking coming from the roof of the house. Crews searched and confirmed no one was in the house, all occupants had safely evacuated, and no one was injured.

The fire has been completely extinguished, and a fire investigator is determining the cause, origin and damage estimate.
