The Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety is reporting that a 62-year-old man died at the Saskatoon Correction Centre Monday morning.
The inmate was found unresponsive on a living unit around 10:30 a.m.
Corrections staff initiated life saving measures and called EMS.
He was declared dead around 11:12.
The Saskatoon Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating, and the Corrections Ministry is conducting an internal investigation.
The Ministry says no foul play is suspected at this time.
