The RCMP Crime Reduction Team – Gang Task Force (CRT-GTF) out of North Battleford executed a search warrant at a residence on Moosomin First Nation last Wednesday leading to three people being charged. There were seven people taken into custody at the time.
Forty-one-year-old Nicole Poitras of Moosomin First Nation is facing multiple drug and weapons charges while 23-year-old Lyle Night of Saulteaux First Nation was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Saskatoon Police Service for a charge of possession of property obtained by crime.
He is in Saskatoon Provincial Court on November 22 while 41-year-old Malcolm Moccasin of Moosomin First Nation was arrested on outstanding warrants from Battlefords RCMP for several weapons and drug charges as well as fail to comply with probation order. He appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court last Thursday while Nicole Poitras made her first court appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court last Friday.
