Daylight savings time ends overnight Sunday.
The Government of Saskatchewan is responsible for The Time Act passed in 1966 which in a nutshell says the province will stay on Central Standard Time year-round. Because of that, for summer months Saskatchewan is on the same time as Alberta and for the winter the province’s time syncs with Manitoba.
Clocks turn back in the rest of Canada on Sunday morning at 2 a.m. So, on Sunday the west coast will be two hours behind Saskatchewan, Alberta is one hour behind, Ottawa is one hour ahead, and the east coast is 2 hours ahead of Saskatchewan.
