A 40 year old Saskatoon man has been arrested in connection to a drug trafficking investigation.
The Saskatoon Police Service says around 10 p.m. on Wednesday members of the Crime Reduction Team, with assistance from the Tactical Support Unit, took enforcement action on a 40-year-old man in the 200 block of Fairmont Drive. Upon making the arrest, cash and cocaine were seized.
After the arrest a search warrant was executed in the 300 block of Miyo-Wâhkôhtowin Road where police seized $2,655, 97 grams of cocaine powder and a 2010 Lincoln MKX. The accused has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5000.
