Southey RCMP are investigating a fatal accident which happened Wednesday evening around 6:30 on Highway 6, about 10 kilometres north of Regina. The driver of one of the vehicles, a 35-year-old man from Piapot Fist Nation, was declared dead at the scene by EMS. There was another man in the vehicle. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Southey RCMP and a collision reconstructionist continue to investigate.
