Steffes Group is entering the Canadian market by purchasing Bruce Schapansky Auctioneers for an undisclosed amount.

Steffes has nine auction houses in six U.S. states with Tisdale being its tenth location.

Schapansky plans to phase into retirement over the next three years, but will remain with Steffes in a sales capacity. He adds there will be no changes to the current staff and is promising a seamless transition for customers.
