There was a lot of turkey being cooked up Monday at Saskatoon’s Friendship Inn for Thanksgiving!
The Inn served 2,384 meals between breakfast and lunch yesterday which included 70 turkeys, about 155 pumpkin pies or 1,861 slices.
And there were more than 40 hours of volunteer service yesterday alone in order to serve up more than two thousand meals. The average need for volunteers’ hours every month is around 1,300.
