The Canadian Farm Writers Federation held their annual conference in Halifax over the weekend.

One of those in attendance was CJWW Radio reporter Keira Miller. Born and raised in west-central Saskatchewan, this was Keira’s first visit to the Maritimes.

Keira spoke about her experiences with CJWW Agriculture Director Neil Billinger.

Miller toured the Annapolis Valley and saw an apple processing facility, a winery and a large greenhouse that growers flowers.

After the conference, Keira went sight-seeing at Peggy’s Cove, a popular tourist destination for Canadian and international visitors.
