Several Saskatoon streets closed ahead of Nuit Blanche

Downtown road closures for Nuit Blanche start Saturday at 3 p.m. The Traffic Bridge/Victoria Avenue will be closed between 11th and 19th streets.
Additional event road restrictions include:
– 3rd Avenue between 21st and 19th streets
– Spadina Crescent between 2nd Avenue and 20th Street
– roadway Avenue between 12th and Main streets
– 12th Street between Eastlake and Broadway avenues

The roadways will reopen after 1:00 a.m. on Sunday. Drivers are reminded to drive carefully and watch for participants.

There are Nuit Blanche festivals held across the world. Saskatoon’s Nuit Blanche website describes it as a free night-time contemporary arts festival featuring projections, sculptural installations, performance, music, theatre and other contemporary art forms.
