A 24-year-old man is charged with evading police, dangerous driving, impaired driving, possession of methamphetamine and failing to comply with court ordered conditions.
Police spotted the vehicle heading on 33rd Street near Avenue P North around 9:30am. The vehicle was tracked by the air support unit until a tire deflation device was successfully deployed on Warman Road near Cavers Street. The vehicle finally came to a stop after colliding with another vehicle near the Circle Drive overpass. The driver attempted to flee on foot but was arrested a short time later.
