The search for the person who killed Prince Albert woman Jean LaChance pushes on, 33 years after her death.
On September 14, 1991, at 2:00 am, LaChance was seen in the 3500 Block of 2nd Ave West in Prince Albert. The next morning, the 29-year-old was discovered dead in a wooded area south of the Victoria Hospital.
Her five children, now adults, continue to look for answers. They often visit a bench which is located in the 2800 Block of 10th Ave West that was placed there in her memory.
The Prince Albert Police joins her son, Theron Morin, in asking the public to release any information they might know about the incident.
Morin says “To anyone who knows anything regarding my Mom, any information, anything at all, whether you think it is small or not, everything is helpful. To the person involved, who is listening to this, know that I forgive you and my family forgives you”.
