The Saskatoon Fire Department was called to the Willows neighborhood this afternoon for the report of an attached garage fire.

Crews arrived at 600 Cartwright Street shortly after 12:30 to see flames and heavy smoke exiting from the garage and threatening the attached house.

The fire has since been brought under control, and all occupants were able to evacuate safely. The cause of the fire and a damage estimate are still being determined.
