HUSKIES FOOTBALL:
The 2024 season opener between Regina and Saskatchewan was thrilling, with Regina securing a 33-28 victory before more than 4,000 fans at Mosaic Stadium. Huskies quarterback Anton Amundrud had a solid performance completing 22 of 33 pass attempts for 235 yards, two touchdown passes and an interception. Daniel Wiebe hauled in both touchdown passes adding to his hot start to the season.
Regina jumped out to an 8-0 lead early in the game, followed by a 22-7 lead after a quick Huskie response.
