The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to an incident Thursday evening where a vehicle hit a power pole along Valley Road. Emergency crews responded just after 7 and determined there was no danger from the power lines, so they were able to get closer and found the driver unconscious. Fire paramedics removed the driver from the vehicle and STARS took the patient to hospital. The accident investigation has now been turned over to the RCMP.
