Two graduating high school students have been awarded the prestigious Schulich Leadership Scholarships, which provide students with high academic achievements with over $100,000 to pursue their post-secondary education.
Sahas Mittal graduated from Carlton Comprehensive High School in Prince Albert with a 99 per cent average. He will receive $120,000 to attend the College of Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan this fall.
Rowan Redekopp graduated from Martensville High School, also with an average of 99 per cent. He will be entering a computer science program this fall.
Program founder Seymour Schulich says, “with their university expenses covered, they can focus on their studies, research projects, extracurriculars, and entrepreneurial ventures.”
