Traffic restrictions at Saskatoon’s Central Avenue and 103rd Street East have been lifted following a police presence.

At 3:40 p.m. today, police received a report of an unknown problem in the area. Further updates stated a female in a vehicle may be in possession of a weapon.

Officers say they located the vehicle with the woman inside, and using a loud hailer, she was called from the vehicle. She was taken into custody without further incident. A search of the vehicle resulted in two imitation firearms.

The investigation continues.
