Saskatoon hosts Canadian Junior Shorthorn Association show

The Canadian Shorthorn Association is holding its annual general meeting on Saturday while junior members will be holding a three-day show at the Prairieland Ag Centre on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

About 40 junior members from British Columbia to Ontario will exhibit some 60 Shorthorn cattle. The event wraps up Saturday evening with a special sale of genetics and other products to raise money for the Junior Shorthorn Association. The sale will also be broadcast on DLMS.

CJWW Agriculture Director Neil Billinger interviewed two of the participants—-Royce Moellenbeck from Engelfeld and Lucy McNiven from Coulson, Ontario. McNiven is the President of the Junior Shorthorn Association and Moellenbeck is a Saskatchewan director.
