The Saskatoon Police Service have charged two people believed connected to the city’s 7th homicide of 2024.
Twenty-four-year-old Melissa Duquette was found deceased at a property in the city’s Dundonald neighbourhood. Saskatoon Police officers responded to a call April 15th about an insecure property in the 3200 Block of 33rd Street West. Twenty-four-year-old Melissa Duquette’s body was found in the basement.
On Wednesday a 33-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were charged with First Degree Murder. They were arrested and appeared in court this morning. Police have also issued a warrant for the arrest of 28-year-old Kendell Ameech. If you have information regarding his whereabouts you are advised to not approach but call police or Crime Stoppers.
