Upgrades at several Saskatchewan Regional Parks have been made possible following the provincial government’s decision to double the annual funding to the Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association.
The Government of Saskatchewan allocated $1.23 million to the fund this year, which has been put towards supporting capital improvements and preventative maintenance projects.
Through the capital grant administered by the SRPA, each regional park can receive up to $25,000, a funding source that helps contribute to the long-term sustainability of the parks.
