At 2:15 a.m. Friday morning there was an accident in the northbound lane of Circle Drive under the Attridge Drive overpass. Investigators determined an SUV collided with the rear of a gravel truck.  For about 11 hours police closed the road ahead of the accident scene where vehicles merge northbound to get onto Preston or Attridge, off of Circle Drive and all traffic was being diverted.

Collision analysts continue to investigate but say the 38-year-old male driver and lone occupant of the SUV was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.  The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.
