Using the proceeds from Photo Speed Enforcement tickets, the province is handing out over $1.3 million in grants for projects that will improve traffic safety in Saskatchewan.
One of the 55 projects to come includes the installation of speed display signs, speed bumps, and signage to improve intersection safety in Arcola.
Two others will bring pedestrian crossing signs to Moose Jaw, and youth artwork to Cote First Nation as an effort to prevent impaired driving.
Applications for the next round of funding are currently being accepted, and the deadline is September 30th.
