A Saskatoon high school student has taken home a national award for her diving robot that uses Artificial Intelligence to aid in search and rescue missions.
Yurui Qin captured the $10,000 prize from the Rideau Hall Foundation.
It provides young innovators a chance to advance their ideas while receiving financial support and mentorship opportunities.
Qin was one of sixteen national finalists between the ages of 14 and 18.
