Five years after a shooting incident in La Ronge claimed the life of one person, injuries to another male adult while several other individuals managed to escape without serious injury, a male has been arrested.
According to the Saskatchewan RCMP news release, the name of the suspect cannot be released as he was 14-years-old at the time of the shooting back in 2019. However, he was arrested on Saturday and charged with one count of second-degree murder in the death of 26-year-old Jeremy Bird, four counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated assault. The suspect made his first appearance in La Ronge Provincial Court Monday.
