Progressive Conservative Party Leader Rose Buscholl says more transparent rules are needed to ensure current farmland ownership regulations are followed.
Topping the list is having buyers sign an affidavit swearing they have residency in the province, having corporations release the list of their shareholders, and ensuring all farmland purchases are done in Canadian currency.
