Saskatoon residents invited to information sessions about proposed bylaw changes

Saskatoon residents are invited to attend two information sessions about the Housing Accelerator Fund and proposed bylaw changes.

The come-and-go sessions take place on June 4th and 6th from 4:00-8:00pm, the first at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and the second at the Saskatoon Fieldhouse.

Attendees will learn about the city’s plan to permit up to four dwelling units on all residential sites, permitting multiple-unit residential development within 800m of the bus rapid transit stations, streamlining approvals for residential care homes, and removing minimum parking requirements city wide.

All proposed amendments will be brought forward to a Public Hearing for Council’s consideration in June, except for parking which will be brought forward in July.
