The Regina Police Service says a man and a male youth are facing second degree murder charges after a 22-year-old-man was shot in the 4800 block of Sherwood Drive.
Police were dispatched around 1:50 p.m. on Sunday to a report of a man on a driveway with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to hospital, but he succumbed to the injury. The victim has been identified as Everett Wolfe Roberts-Orr.
Police have arrested and charged 24-year-old Isaiah James Dustyhorn and a 17-year-old youth who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Both are in court Monday. This is Regina’s first homicide of 2024. Saskatoon has recorded nine homicides so far this year.
