A traffic stop in Leoville on Tuesday afternoon led to charges being laid against two men from the Pelican Lake First Nation.
The traffic stop was conducted by a conservation officer with the Provincial Protective Services Branch.
Spiritwood RCMP were notified and it was determined the driver was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court.
A news release states a further investigation located about 43 grams of crack cocaine, 52 grams of methamphetamine, bear spray, brass knuckles, an imitation pistol as well as some cash.
30 year old Matthew Whitstone and 40 year old Byron Peekeekoot are facing several theft, drug and firearm charges.
