The City of Saskatoon says street sweeping is getting underway. At this stage there is no need to remove vehicles while crews get rid of the bulk of the debris left from winter.

The next step takes place in early May when every street in the city is scheduled to see a street cleaning crew.  There will be “No Parking” signs in place and parked vehicles will have to be moved off the street.

To deal with potholes this early in the season a cold asphalt mix is used for urgent repairs until a hot mix asphalt can be applied starting in late April for a more permanent fix.
