The Saskatchewan Health Authority has recruited a family doctor for the Melfort area.
Dr. Evan Mah joined Melfort’s health care community last fall.
The SHA is highlighting him as one of the new physicians working in rural Saskatchewan thanks to support offered through the government’s Health Human Resources plan.
Dr. Mah also furthered his surgical skills training in Prince Albert prior to opening his practice through USask’s Enhanced Surgical Skills program which gives general practitioners the opportunity to receive more training in surgery and obstetrics to prepare them for emergency treatments such as Caesarian sections, appendectomies and abscess removals.
