The small boy was spotted walking alone near an apartment complex at 2902-50th Avenue in Lloydminster around 7 o’clock on Tuesday evening.
A parent or guardian could not be located in the area.
The RCMP issued a news release on Wednesday afternoon asking for the public’s assistance in locating the child’s family. A second news release was sent about 45 minutes later saying the child had been identified.
