An underground contractor was seriously injured at the Nutrien Cory Potash mine on Wednesday. The Cory mine is about 10 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon. A statement from Nutrien says, “Our site mine rescue team acted swiftly and safely relocated the individual to surface, where emergency responders attended to and transported the individual to hospital in Saskatoon via ground ambulance, and is currently being treated.”
