Melfort RCMP say a 35-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in the weekend death of a woman at a business in Melfort.
Police report that early Sunday they responded to a disturbance at a business in Melfort where they say an altercation occurred between a man and woman and the woman was injured. She was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Danielle Dobersheck from Prince Albert.
A suspect was arrested at the scene and Codey Chubey appeared in court Monday charged with one count of second-degree murder.
