The Angus Reid Institue says, “For three of Canada’s provincial leaders, campaign season is not far off. Saskatchewan’s Scott Moe and British Columbia’s David Eby head into their expected October competitions in a relatively strong place when it comes to public opinion.”
The latest Angus Reid Survey shows Scott Moe in second place next to Premier Wab Kinew of Manitoba. Moe’s approval rating slipped just slightly from 54 per cent in the last check-in, in December, to 53 per cent this month.
The Angus Reid Institute says Premier Moe remains among the most approved of leaders in the country, one of just two leaders who break the majority mark this quarter and they point to Moe and his Saskatchewan Party going head-to-head with the federal government on the federal carbon tax.
