Graduates of Suncrest College’s Early Childhood Education program will now see their diploma recognized as a transfer credit towards an Early Elementary Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Regina.

Students with a minimum program grade point average of 60% are eligible upon graduation to receive 30 credit hours towards the U of R degree. Students who graduated as far back as April 30, 2021, are eligible, as well.

Suncrest Chair of Post Secondary, Melana Vroom, says “Providing opportunities for students to ladder their diploma program into a degree program with the University of Regina is such an important benefit of the regional college system.”

Suncrest’s ECE program is currently offered on their Canora, Fort Qu’Appelle, Melfort, Nipawin, and Yorkton campuses.
