A 31 year-old man is facing charges after an arson that took place earlier this month.
Regina Fire and Protective Services were called to the Blessed Sacrament Parish in the 2000 block of Scarth Street shortly before 4:00 a.m. on February 9th, to a report of a fire. Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze and determined it was intentionally set.
Over the past week, police have been reviewing security footage from the area. As a result, officers were able to identify and locate a suspect.
Thirty-one-year-old Jordan Willet was arrested and he is charged with Arson with Disregard for Human Life, Disguise with Intent, and two counts of Failing to Comply with a Probation Order.
Willet will make his first court appearance in Regina on Tuesday morning.
