Saskatoon Police have determined a suspicious package that was found outside of a business this morning is not dangerous.

At 7:20 a.m. on Friday, police were called to the 600 block of 50th Street East for a report of a suspicious package. Upon arrival of Patrol, the determination was made for the Explosive Disposal Unit to respond.

Officers isolated the package and evacuated the immediate area. Using drone and robot technology, members of the EDU neutralized the package and rendered it safe.

Police have since concluded on scene and cleared the area.
