A 34-year-old Saskatoon man is facing several drug and traffic related charges following a traffic stop last night.
At 11:45 p.m., on Tuesday, police observed a vehicle that had been reported stolen. A traffic stop was attempted but the driver refused to stop and evaded police.
The vehicle then lost control several times, colliding with a parked car and bus stop, before crashing into a snowbank.
The driver was arrested, and while searching his person, police say they found about four grams of methamphetamine.
The man has been charged with dangerous driving, evading police, obstructing a peace officer and possession of methamphetamine. He was also found to be wanted on outstanding warrants and had breached a release order.
